Hot Air Balloon Flight from Barolo: an Adventure between Sky, Vineyards and Castles
Imagine taking off among the most famous vineyards in the world, leaving your routine behind and rising towards the sky, suspended above a landscape that seems drawn. Flying in a hot air balloon above the Langa del Barolo, in the heart of the UNESCO heritage hills, is a perfect mix of wonder and relaxation.
We start from a panoramic point in the heart of the production area of castle, where everything smells of wine and beauty. We take off all’alba – always magical – or in the afternoon (from September to May), when the sun goes down and dyes the rows gold and orange. The beauty? There is no fixed map, the route is decided by the wind: you relax and he guides you. Each flight is a limited edition.
During the approximately 60 minutes in flight, you will be able to admire the view from above Barolo castle, the roofs of Monforte, Serralunga,, Grinzane Cavour and the soft and colorful hills that make these lands so special. All accompanied only by silence and the sweet breath of the burner.
And you know what's great? Flying in a hot air balloon is a kind choice towards Earth. The impact on the environment is minimal and that slight trace of CO₂ that we leave in the sky… we return by planting a tree for every flight. A small but precious gesture. Because up there, where everything appears perfect and silent, the desire to preserve so much beauty arises spontaneously.
And it doesn't end there: once you've got your feet back on the ground, a toast with typical products of the Langhe! Cured meats, cheeses, local wines… a small banquet among friends, to celebrate a day to remember.
The experience is suitable to everyone aged 7 and up (minimum height 130 cm). For technical reasons related to the capacity of the ball, it is expected a small surcharge per passeggeri oltre i 100 kg. No flying during pregnancy or after a very lively evening: safety first.
And what if the weather is bad? No problem. The flight will come postponed at no additional cost: yes to flying, but only in complete safety and in the right sky.
