MURAZZANO

Today I take you for a tour in a small corner of paradise that is located in the heart of the Alta Langa: Murazzano. With its hills, breathtaking views and cheese that will make your taste buds dance with joy, this small town of not even a thousand inhabitants, is a must for those who love to discover hidden treasures...not to be missed for those looking for an adventure among forests, culture and delicious cuisine.

Murazzano is located in a strategic position and enjoys a spectacular view on the Langhe. Walking through its streets, you will feel like you are on a movie set: the stone houses, the cobbled alleys and the colorful flowers on the balconies will make you fall in love at first sight. Here time seems to have stopped! A perfect destination for those looking for a break from the bustle of the city and want to breathe fresh air and craftsmanship, not surprisingly it was one of the most loved places by Fenoglio. There is no place to be bored here among shrines, mills and elegant churches. In the skyline of the city stands out the majestic Tower of the 1300, the symbol of the country! You can well imagine that, as in every stage of these landings, here too you eat very well! And speaking of food, we can not mention the absolute protagonist of local tables: Murazzano DOP. This sheep’s milk cheese, with a delicate taste and creamy texture, is perfect to enjoy with a good glass of Dolcetto. But I warn you: it is addictive!
